This lifting device is custom made for Vermeer Rental & Services' 5- and 3-ton test weights. The use of other test weights is permitted provided the load is distributed correctly, the W.L.L. and maximum top angles are not exceeded, and the weights are properly secured.
Even when using the 5- and 3-ton test weights, the weights must be properly secured by means of locking pins through the locking props and the use of lashing straps on the lashing eyes, for example.
Hanging weight under the frame on the hitch hook is only possible with the 5- and 3-ton weights.
This lifting device is not intended for offshore or marine use.
